HOUSE OF VIDA STUDIO
Hi, I'm Julia, the founder of House of Vida.
I've learned how to make things with care. How to bring colours, shapes and materials together so that something of your own emerges – not just something arbitrary. I carry that same care into House of Vida, just without the pressure to always be faster, bigger, more perfect. Instead, what matters to me is the standard I hold myself and my clients to: creating a coherent, aesthetic composition that radiates warmth, leaves you with a good feeling and holds up to the highest standards.
I've worked with big names like Red Bull, as well as small, independent labels and learned a lot along the way about what a healthy, sustainable working life actually means. For over ten years, I worked with Deichkind, that long partnership taught me how to truly collaborate on projects, working with people instead of against them.
The name House of Vida carries a special origin: Vida is my daughter's second name, and it means "life" in Spanish. To me, it stands for everything that matters, presence, sustainability, a good, healthy life for her and for all of us.
I believe the most beautiful things are often the simplest. That it's not about who's faster, but who leads the most sustainable, healthiest life, for themselves, for their family, for their children's future.
Igor grew out of that, from a moment with my daughter, a dog we passed on our bike ride to nursery, a story we made up together. He stands for exactly that: staying calm, not needing to perform, simply being present.
House of Vida brings all of that together: A thoughtful, honest design, sustainability, and a little lightness.
